Tutu Folorunsho
Founder, NeuroPlan Hub · Milton, Ontario
Mother of an autistic young adult. For 18+ years I navigated autism parenting across different countries, systems, and stages of life. NeuroPlan Hub was not created from theory. It was built from years of trying to create, through survival and trial and error, the very things I wish had existed for families like mine.
I became the coordinator, the researcher, the advocate, the knowledge holder, the backup plan. The person responsible for making disconnected systems function together while also trying to maintain my own life.
I carried folders of reports and letters, always having to scramble to prove my case. I sat in an autism transition meeting and discovered that the school’s record of my child was six years out of date. I had to rebuild my child’s entire picture from scratch under pressure because everything I knew lived only inside my head.
There were times I forgot vital information in those meetings, only to remember it later after a decision had already been made that affected my child. I lay awake wondering what would happen to my child if something happened to me.
And eventually I realized that no system was going to organize itself. Nobody was coming. If anything was going to be built, I was going to have to build it.
So I did.
“No system was going to organize itself. Nobody was coming. If anything was going to be built, I was going to have to build it.”
Tutu Folorunsho18+ years of navigating autism parenting across different countries, systems, and stages of life. Marriage, divorce, single parenthood, rebuilding, burnout, career pressure, and the invisible operational load most autism families carry quietly behind closed doors.
It is about discovering who you become through the process, and designing a life that holds both of you. None of this was created theoretically. It was built from lived gaps, lived consequences, and years of rebuilding.
My professional background is in complex operational environments where multiple teams, systems, dependencies, and timelines all have to function together clearly and sustainably.
I realized autism families were experiencing the exact same breakdown. Except the parent was acting as coordinator, escalation point, project manager, and memory bank without enough support structures around them.
That understanding is what NeuroPlan Hub is built on.
18+ years as an autism parent gave me the lived knowledge.
A career in complex operational environments gave me the systems lens.
NeuroPlan Hub is what happens when both of those things are aimed at the same problem.
Parents matter as an equal subject of their child’s plan, not a footnote to it.
The wellness of a parent directly impacts their capacity for parenting.
The answer already lives inside every parent. You do not need another expert to tell you who your child is. You need someone who can help you trust what you already know and build it into something real.
Systems do not change. You rise above them. You take control of what you can build.
NeuroPlan Hub is where the structural work happens. The plans, the systems, the coordination, the documentation. The life built to hold up under pressure.
Philautism is a space for reflecting on the inner transformation of autism parenting. The identity shifts. The grief alongside love. The quiet work of staying yourself while giving so much to someone else.
Both exist because neither is enough on its own.
